Mr. Sam Perry is an independent investor and corporate development consultant based in Menlo Park, California. 

He was most recently Senior Vice President of NextSet Software, Inc., and NextSet Ventures,

Mr. Perry  was the Silicon Valley director of Reuters Greenhouse (now RVC Greenhouse), the venture arm of the worldwide media company Reuters Group PLC.  At Reuters Greenhouse, he led investments in Internet technology and content infrastructure companies on behalf of one of the most successful global corporate venture groups. Sam served as adviser to Greenhouse portfolio companies, including director and observer positions on boards of directors, and was instrumental role in sourcing and executing Greenhouse investments in startup companies based in Silicon Valley and elsewhere in the United States.

Prior to Greenhouse, Sam was a senior financial correspondent and editor for Reuters in London, Seattle, New York and Palo Alto, California, and participated in launching several new businesses within the Reuters group.
