In
the summer of 1995, Mr.
Steve Hess formed and
became Managing Partner of IStrategies
International (IStrategies ). Mr.
Hess has 20+ years of international (USA, Europe, and Asia) marketing and
strategic relationship experience in the Computer/High Tech Industry. Steve has worked for technology, and infrastructure companies. He has done strategic alliance and
acquisition work for the last 15 years (IT, Internet and vertical).
During that time, he was an essential participant in the due diligence and
acquisition strategy development and execution at a number of companies.
Steve have been involved in raising venture capital for startup companies
and currently manages an incubator, a limited partnership, one LLP and
founded an association of venture capitalists.
In 2000 Steve contacted a longtime friend and mentor Bob
Coolidge. He asked him to come out of semi-retirement to become a Partner at
IStrategies International (IStrategies ). In 30 years, Mr. Coolidge has been
President/Chief Executive Officer of a number of high-technology companies.
Bob has been approached and hired by venture capital groups or the Board of Directors to replace founding or existing senior
management in eight at risk
high-tech companies. In those turn-arounds, he dealt with troubled, visionless,
plateaued, product-poor or unprofitable high technology companies.
Our finance associate Lowell Dicke has worked for the U.S. State Department at the
United Nations, was Staff Legal Counsel for Litton Industries, started and
was in charge of project finance for the Fluor Corporation, and was head
of project financing at the Bechtel Corporation.
In addition he
was a partner in Montgomery Securities. Lowell holds degrees in Economics and Law
from Yale University.

Crimson specializes in marketing
issues for Internet companies. With more
than 2,400 consultants, they have done strategic and implementation-level
consulting for such companies as AOL, Cisco, HP, IBM, Lucent, Microsoft, Nortel,
Oracle and Palm.
Established in 1996, Berkeley Consulting (BC) is a non-profit,
student-run business consulting organization recognized by U.C. Berkeley's
Student Activities and Services Office and by the Haas School of Business. BC
members are recruited from a variety of academic disciplines, including
business, economics, engineering, physical sciences, and humanities.
Moreover, Along with many at UCB IStrategies founded and has a close relationship with an association
of UC Berkeley alumni who are venture capitalist. Additionally,
Steve Hess is a member
Keiretsu Angel Forum and manages an on-line discussion group for the
Keiretsu.
The Keiretsu
Forum provides a structured process for introducing sophisticated investors
to private equity opportunities. Forum members, who are accredited
investors, may invest capital, and may also contribute ideas, networking
resources, and business experience. The Keiretsu Forum
