As part of that profile the Incubator donates a portion of the fees it would pay to the general partners to the university system instead. This year The Incubator provided a grant to UC Berkeley to demonstrate our appreciation to the University for being a point of germination for ideas that change and shape society.

The Incubator LP is pleased to be in the role of taking those ideas and amplifying their financial value through the public markets. The donation was a culmination of the vital process of business innovation, consisting of research and development at the University level, followed by commercialization assistance by the Incubator. The donation was conveyed to Prof. David Teece, Director of the Institute of Management, Innovation and Organization at UC Berkeley, who acted as trustee in its distribution to the various University departments

Below are some of the links to useful areas for investors and  entrepreneurs at  the University:

Formerly known as the Center for Research in Management (CRM), it was founded in 1961 to advance research in what was then the emerging field of "management science," and in 1978 it formally broadened that mandate to include interdisciplinary approaches to the problems of management, technology, organization, law and public policy.
